Paul West joined On Time Logistics in March 2017 and serves as an independent contractor, making various types of deliveries. He originally worked in our Tulsa warehouse but transferred to our Springdale location.

Paul has a delivery and sales background. In Oklahoma City, he was a sales representative with the Wine Group and Bacardi Rum. After that, he worked at UPS for nearly 10 years. His delivery experience was built at Baker Hughes and Pryer Machine & Tool in Claremore, Oklahoma, as well as a warehouse in Tulsa.

Paul knew when he was 18 that his passion was for delivery and warehouse work. His first job was as a manager at a sporting goods store. He said that 33 years later, he was very excited that he was able to purchase his first delivery truck.

Paul’s favorite part about working at OTL is working with friendly people.

“Everyone at OTL has made me feel welcome and right at home,” he said.

Paul has been married for 32 years and has two grown boys and a grandbaby. He calls them his “true treasures in life.” Woodworking and farming are two of his biggest hobbies.

Paul said that one of the craziest experiences he’s had on the job is when he had to kill a snake on a customer’s patio in order to complete a white glove delivery.

“Lee sat in the truck and the lady was running around the yard hysterically,” he explained. “Then after I killed the snake, the lady tells me her husband has snakes. I replied to her, ‘I hope that’s not one of his snakes,’ and she replied back, ‘I don’t care. If it’s out of the cage, it’s dead.’”

We are glad that Paul is a part of the On Time Logistics team. We’re always looking for more couriers and truck drivers! Learn about our opportunities on our website.
