This month’s team member spotlight comes to On Time Logistics with a wide variety of work experience. Justin Buckley joined our team in August 2018, and he serves as a delivery driver and also helps pull and load freight. He is in our Little Rock location.
Justin tells us he’s worked as a radio tower climber, in the medical field in nursing, in the construction industry, and he’s even worked at a casino.
“I had prior work that involved extensive physical labor and 16-hour plus shifts,” he said. “Here at OTL, I have more time with my family which is my first priority. It is also more competitive pay and I also get to do my two favorite things every day: driving and meeting new faces.”
Justin says he enjoys working with the customers the most as he is a “people person.”
“Getting to meet new people every day is a blessing,” he said. “I love to see someone’s face when their product arrives. Happiness is bliss!”
Justin adds that besides working with customers during deliveries, he loves having a different route each week and having new scenery almost daily.
“That way, our days are not monotonous,” Justin said.
As he already mentioned, Justin loves spending time with his family as much as he can.
“Outdoors is my favorite. A campfire in the backyard with my friends and family is my serenity,” he said. “Traveling is another favorite. I love the drive and new places, especially the food. I love to try new food…always better with family!”
We asked Justin if there was anything fun or interesting about himself that he wanted to share.
“I’m the goofy one, to say the least,” he said. “If work isn’t fun, it becomes just a job.
“I love jokes and fun, but I am very passionate about my work. I enjoy a challenge and crave responsibility,” he continued. “OTL isn’t just a job. This is a career and I am fortunate to have the opportunity to be part of such a great company, team, and family.”

We have some basic requirements for all contract couriers and delivery drivers. Those requirements include:
- 21 years of age
- Valid DL
- Clean driving record
- Pass a background check
- Reliable vehicle (Contract couriers only, drivers use our trucks)
- Professional appearance (Business casual)
- Smartphone on a major carrier (ie. Verizon, AT&T, Sprint etc.)
- Appropriate delivery-use insurance ($300,000 liability minimum)
- Approved Drug Test required prior to contract or employment offer.
