Northwest Arkansas is one of the most scenic areas in the nation, and it is also home to some of the best biking trails. From mountain biking trails to paved trails, Northwest Arkansas has more 200 miles of available cycling trails! Communities throughout Northwest Arkansas are becoming known for their dedication to various forms of recreational cycling.

At On Time Logistics, our staff has always been committed to the local cycling industry. Whether we are raising awareness about sharing the roads with bikers or supporting the local Northwest Arkansas bike shops and races, On Time Logistics is invested in the growing industry. Several members of our leadership team are avid long-distance bike riders, and we have worked to support biking in local schools.

One of the leading cycling magazines, Bike Magazine, publishes an annual issue called the Bible of Bikes. This issue of Bike Magazine is the most comprehensive mountain bike gear guide in the industry. The magazine’s staff heads to a national biking hub to test out gear, bikes, and trails. These Bible of Bikes Tests include trying out bikes on a variety of short-, medium-, and long-travel bikes on the local trails!

For Bike Magazine’s 8th Annual Bible of Bike issue, the magazine featured the expansive Northwest Arkansas trails. Reporters, journalists, and writers came to the area during the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) World Summit. They surveyed the trails, investigated the local bike shops, and declared the region a must-experience riding destination.

The president of the Northwest Arkansas Tourism Association (NATA), J.R. Shaw was excited about the magazine’s decision to feature the NWA region. According to Shaw, over the past year, the cities of Bentonville, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, and Rogers have been focused on promoting the region as a mountain bike destination. Similarly, the region’s sports venues also highlight the area’s ability to host a variety of cycling related sporting events.

Shaw also shared his enthusiasm with regards to the potential influx of visitors to the area. “Bike Magazine’s decision helps us introduce ourselves to thousands of potential visitors.”

All of the cities in the Northwest Arkansas region, including Bentonville, Springdale, Eureka Springs, Fayetteville, and Rogers, have been working on the expansive biking trails. It is exciting and an honor to have our area’s trails nationally recognized.

Through the raising awareness for cyclists, a variety of sponsorship for biking sports and events, and investment in fitness through cycling activities, at On Time Logistics, we are committed to and invested in recreational biking throughout Northwest Arkansas.
