Timothy Swindler has been with On Time Logistics since August 2017, when he was hired as Warehouse Manager. In November, he was promoted to Operations Manager. Tim joins us after a 12-year career as an over-the-road truck driver and warehouse services manager.
He’s only been with us for a couple of months and we’re already grateful for his dedication to helping our new location grow. In fact, that’s what he tells us he looks forward to most with his new job—seeing how our Little Rock location thrives.
We asked him what is different about what he does now compare to previous transportation industry experience and he says that the freight and deliveries will be different in Little Rock than what he was accustomed to.
In his free time, Tim enjoys hobbies such as fishing, hunting and playing different sports like basketball. He has also traveled to seven different countries outside of the United States and to 38 out of the 50 states.
Team members like Tim are important to our business because they help organize and direct the items so that customers get their items on time and in good condition. Flexibility is another important quality in logistics management and Tim is a great example of what we look for in our managers!
On Time Logistics has provided services through an agent in the Little Rock area, as well as Tulsa, Okla., since 2015. The general growth in e-commerce, as well as the increased needs in Little Rock for quality last mile carriers, drove us to expand to have our own office in Little Rock this summer.
E-commerce growth has been the major driving factor in On Time Logistics’ growth since 2016 as we are the last-mile delivery provider for a growing number of retailers, including Amazon.com and Wayfair.com.
On Time Logistics was founded in 2007 by Steve Jones and offers services including warehousing, courier services, medical courier services, white glove service, last mile courier service, and other on-demand courier and delivery services. Our primary service areas are Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Kansas.
