As the economy in Northwest Arkansas continues to improve, more companies like us at On Time Logistics are expanding and seeking to hire the most qualified workers. We are all looking for workers who align with company goals, vision, and mission.
Companies seeking to hire and those still seeking jobs will have the chance to meet this Monday during the 2015 NWA Spring Job Fair. Our Director of Marketing and Sales Tim Ward will attend the event as we are looking to schedule appointments with prospective independent contractors. Our ICs are responsible for courier service and white glove delivery service. We are especially growing in Benton County and we are interested in talking to people who already live in that area.
According to economic reports, not only are unemployment figures declining, but payroll figures are on the rise. One might think those figures have an obvious relationship, but unemployment figures only account for people who still qualify for unemployment and don’t include people who have quit looking. The fact that employment figures are on the rise tells us more people are getting jobs in Northwest Arkansas.
The NWA Spring Job Fair is hosted each year by the Rogers-Lowell Area Chamber of Commerce and is presented by WorkSource NTS and Glad Manufacturing Company. The job fair will be 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday at the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton (301 S.E. Walton Blvd) in Bentonville. This is the largest and longest running job fairs in Arkansas and is free for job seekers. The fair also features Street Smarts seminars from Cameron Smith & Associates that focus on resumes and interviewing (11 a.m. and 12 noon).
