Wendy Corbin joined the On Time Logistics family at the beginning of 2016, and we’re grateful to have her working in dispatch and administrative support. Besides our couriers, our dispatchers are the ones who interact the most with our customers and so having the right person in that position is vital.
“I feel my position allows me to build strong relationships with individuals instead of large corporations,” she said of how her work at OTL is different from previous jobs.
She has a marketing degree and has worked in TV broadcasting both at the local Channel 40/29 and a station in Birmingham, Alabama. She’s also worked in property management when she lived in Durango, Colorado. Wendy’s lived in Texas, Arkansas, Alabama, Virginia Beach and Colorado.
Wendy says the thing she enjoys most about her work at OTL is the atmosphere.
“Everyone is cheerful and willing to do what is takes to make us successful as a whole,” she says. “Definitely no ‘I’ in TEAM here.”
Wendy’s hobbies include “anything outdoors” such as hiking, camping, and trail rides. She has two daughters she says are “both very successful and are both the air that I breathe.” She adds that she will most likely be a Ya-Ya (grandma) before she reaches age 50.
A couple more fun facts: she loves working with horses as much as possible, and she has a mini-dachshund named “Mr. Phil.”
